I’ve got to tell you about this amazing smoothie I’ve been making lately – it’s my Avocado Smoothie with Dried Fruits, Coconut Flakes, Spinach, and a touch of honey. It’s seriously become my daily go-to, and I think you’ll love it too!

Let me break it down for you. First off, we’ve got the avocado, which gives the smoothie its creamy texture and loads it up with healthy fats and essential nutrients like vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as folate and potassium. It’s like nature’s own superfood!

Then there’s the dried fruits and coconut flakes, adding natural sweetness and crunch while bringing in a heap of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. But here’s where it gets even better – I’ve started throwing in some spinach too.

Yep, spinach! Don’t worry, you can’t even taste it with all the other flavors going on. But what you do get is an extra boost of vitamins and minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium. Plus, it adds a gorgeous green color that just screams “healthy.”

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Almond Milk

  • 1 Ripe Avocado (Do not use overripe ones!)

  • handful of baby spinach

  • 1 Medjool Date

  • 2 Figs

  • 1 tsp. Coconut Flakes

  • 1 tsp. Honey

  • 5-6 Ice Cubes

Directions

  • Prepare the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and scooping out the flesh into a blender.

  • Add the dried fruits, coconut flakes, spinach leaves, and honey to the blender.

  • Pour in the Almond Milk. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more liquid.

  • Optionally, add a few ice cubes to the blender to make your smoothie chilled.

  • Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. If needed, stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well mixed.

  • Once your smoothie reaches your desired consistency, pour it into glasses and serve immediately.
