  • Here is the recipe for

    Honey Ginger Sauce

Directions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Gather your ingredients, including chicken breasts (sliced into thin strips), vegetables (such as broccoli and Chinese choy, chopped), garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, rice vinegar, cornstarch, white pepper, oyster sauce, dried chili pepper (optional), and water.

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, freshly grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, lemon juice, rice vinegar, grounded white pepper, dried hot chili peppers (optional) and 1/2 cups of water. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

  • Make the Honey Ginger Sauce: In a blender, combine the prepared sauce mixture with cornstarch until mixed. In a pot, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

  • Cook the Chicken and Vegetables:

Once the Honey Ginger Sauce is cooked, set it aside, and heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of avocado oil or another healthy oil of your choice. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced chicken pieces and stir-fry until they are cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the wok and set it aside. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed and stir-fry the chopped vegetables until they are tender-crisp.

  • Combine and Serve: Return the cooked chicken to the wok with the vegetables. Pour the thickened honey ginger sauce over the chicken and vegetables, tossing everything together until evenly coated. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together

  • Garnish and Enjoy: Once the sauce has thickened and the chicken and vegetables are fully coated, remove from heat. Serve your Honey Ginger Chicken hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor and visual appeal. Enjoy your delicious homemade dish with steamed rice, or brown Jasmine Rice for a heathier version.
