Full disclosure: I wasn’t always a fan of matcha. The idea of that vibrant green powder didn’t quite impress me. However, after creating this matcha smoothie with blended cocoa nibs, I’ve had a change of heart. The matcha smoothie offers a plethora of benefits: matcha powder provides antioxidants and boosts metabolism, while coconut milk offers healthy fats and immunity support. Fruits like mango and pineapple are rich in vitamins, while bananas aid digestion. Natural sweeteners like dates and agave nectar add sustained energy, and cocoa nibs offer antioxidants and mood-boosting properties.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Coconut Milk

  • 1 Banana

  • 1/2 cup Mangos

  • 1/2 cup Pineapple

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp. Agave Nectar

  • 1 Medjool Date

  • 1 tsp. Cocoa Nibs

  • 1 tsp. Matcha Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Cardamon

  • 1-2 drops Vanilla Extract

  • 4-6 Ice Cubes

Directions

  • Collect coconut milk, mango, pineapple, bananas, matcha powder, medjool dates, agave nectar, vanilla extract, cocoa nibs, and any additional flavorings like cardamom.

  • Peel and chop the mango, pineapple, and bananas into chunks. Remove pits from the dates if necessary.

  • In a blender, combine the coconut milk, chopped fruits, matcha powder, dates, agave nectar, vanilla extract, a handful of cocoa nibs, and a few ice cubes. Blend until smooth.

  • Serve and Enjoy!
