Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Grapefruit
  • 1 cup Strawberry
  • 1 tsp. thin sliced Lemongrass
  • 1 cup plain Yoghurt
  • 1 Medjool Date
  • 4 fresh Basil Leaves

Instructions
 

  • Wash and prepare the strawberries by removing the hulls. You can also use frozen ones.
  • Cut the grapefruit into quarters and remove the flesh from each quarter, ensuring to remove any seeds and bitter white parts.
  • In a blender, add the halved strawberries, grapefruit chunks, plain yogurt, pitted Medjool dates, chopped lemongrass, ice cubes and fresh basil leaves.
  • Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • After blending, check the consistency of the smoothie. If it's too thick, you can add a splash of water or more yogurt to thin it out. If it's too thin, you can add additional strawberries or ice cubes to thicken it.
  • Taste the smoothie and assess the sweetness. If you'd like it sweeter, you can add an extra Medjool date or a drizzle of Agave Nectar and blend again until well combined.
  • Once the smoothie reaches your desired consistency and sweetness, pour it into glasses.
