What makes my Tropical Paradise Smoothie special?

Passion Fruits: Packed with vitamins and nutrients, passion fruits are high in vitamin C, supporting immunity and collagen production. They also contain vitamins A and K, plus dietary fiber for overall health.

Mangos: Indulge in the luscious sweetness and creamy texture of ripe mangos, rich in vitamin C for immunity, vitamin A for vision and immune function, and vitamin E for cell protection.

Agave Nectar: Adding a touch of natural sweetness, agave nectar complements the fruits’ flavors, creating a harmonious blend of sweetness and tanginess.

Thai Canned Coconut Milk: The secret ingredient tying it all together, Thai canned coconut milk adds rich flavor and creamy texture. I used the “Chaokoh” brand, but any Thai brand works. To lighten the smoothie, I diluted the coconut milk with water, maintaining its flavor without the heaviness.You can find Thai canned Coconut Milk at any Asian grocery store or some local stores may carry it as well.

The Tropical Paradise Smoothie - a lively blend of oranges, passion fruits, and mangos, complemented by agave nectar and Thai canned coconut milk. This plant-based delight is packed with vital vitamins and nutrients, offering a rejuvenating taste of the tropics in each sip.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Orange

  • 1/2 Mango

  • 2 Passion Fruits

  • 4 ounces water

  • 4 ounces Coconut Milk (canned)

  • 1 tbsp. Agave Nectar

  • 2-4 Ice Cubes

Directions

  • Gather all the ingredients: oranges, passion fruits, mangos, agave nectar, and Thai canned coconut milk.

  • Start by preparing the fruits: peel and chop the oranges and mangos and scoop out the pulp from the passion fruits.

  • In a blender, add the chopped oranges, mangos, and passion fruit pulp.

  • Pour in the desired amount of Thai canned coconut milk, considering your preference for thickness.

  • Add one tablespoon of agave nectar for sweetness.

  • Drop in a few ice cubes to chill and thicken the smoothie.

  • If desired, add a small amount of water to adjust the consistency of the smoothie.

  • Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more agave nectar or coconut milk if necessary.

    1. Once you're satisfied with the consistency and flavor, pour the smoothie into glasses.

I adjusted the consistency of my smoothie by adding some water due to the heaviness of the coconut milk. Canned coconut milk is usually thicker in its consistency making it a more creamier texture than cartonend coconut milk, which is deluted with water. However I just love the taste of Chaokoh Thai Cconut Milk and I beleive that is the secret of this delicious smoothie. Feel free to do the same to achieve your desired thickness.
